I got this question on my assignment, and I have no idea how to solve it. Any idea?

The perimeter, P, of a rectangle is found using the formula P = 2l + 2w, where l is the length of the rectangle and w is the width of the rectangle.

Solve the formula for w.

I like how you explained that you start solving the equation by eliminating whatever is furthest away from the L. I've been trying to describe it as the opposite of the order of operations, the last thing you do to w is the first thing you get rid of.
