asked 03/31/15What would be the variable in this algebra question
The length of a rectangle is twice the width. Let W be the width, L be the length, and P be the perimeter, all units in inches.
A. Which symbol(s) W,L,P are variables?
B. Which symbol(s) W,L,P are constants?
I think that the symbol W,P are the variables and L is the constant.
Am I right?
Thanks!

All of them are variables. The length is not constant since it is twice the width that is a variable.

Width & Length are variables. Perimeter is constant since it relies on the variable of the Width and Length.04/19/19
