If we break even, that means we're not making any money (revenue) or losing any money (cost), which means that the amount we make would need to be equivalent to the amount we have spent.

If they need to be equivalent, then we can set the equations equal to one another!

Revenue is calculated by R = 26x - x²

Cost is calculated by C = 40 + 13x

26x - x² = 40 + 13x

Now that we have a quadratic, do you know how to solve from here? Note that you will have two possible answers.
