asked 03/11/24Im at a loss here.. thought the answer was : f(x) = -3(x+6)(x-3)/(x+1)(x-4) But it isnt taking it so i have no idea..

The function -3(x+6)(x-3) / ( (x+1)(x-4) ) does have the properties stated.
Maybe you are not entering it correctly in the answer box? Notice the parentheses around the denominator.
