This lesson covers percent of change when we calculate the percent of change, the first step we bring the amount of change by making the New number minus the old number 12-10 =2 , and then the second step we will divide the difference by the old number 2 / 10 = 0.2 and the third and last step to convert that to a percentage we will multiply 0.2 * 100 = 20% increase.
