a line through points (-6,-6) and (3,6)
has slope = difference in y's over difference in x's = (6--6)/(3--6) = 12/9=4/3 = (y-3)/(x-6)
4/3 = (y-6)/(x-3)
y-6 = (4/3)(x-3) = 4x/3 - 4
y = 4x/3 -4+6 = 4x/3 +2
y = 4x/3 +2
check the answer, plug in the points
-6 = 4(-6)/3 +2 = -24/3 +2 =-8+2=-6
check the other point (3,6)
6= 4(3)/3+ 2 = 4+2=6
it works
