Given that your maximum weight that can be loaded per container is 27,000 kg, that must be set as our reference. Similarly, 3,400 kg have been preloaded into the container. This means that the rest of the weight, will be from the 100-kg crates.
This statement can be represented by: 100x + 3400 ≤ 27,000
where x is the number of crates you can load.
Note the usage of ≤ which means that you can load as many creates as you want as long as the total weight is less than or equal to the maximum allowable weight.
