If I have a 52% in math and I fail my exam which was worth 10%, but I get 90% on my other two exams which were also worth 10% each what is my grade now?

if you have a 52% average, with 3 exams each worth 10% with grades of 0, 90 and 90

then your final grade is a weighted average

= .52(.7) + 0(.1) + .90(.1) + .90(.1)

= .364 + .18+.18

= ..364+.36 = .72% = Final Grade

but if your failed test grade was some other grade between 0 and 59, for example 50

then your final grade-

.364 +.36 +.50(.1)

= .72+.05

= .77= 77%

Your Final Grade = C, or possibly C- or C+
