The way that I would do this exercise is to first look for the formula for point slope formula which is y-ysub1=m(x-xsub1) as well for the formula for slope which you will need two points from the graph of x>=1.which one will get m=1-0/1-1 if we let xsub1=1 xsub2=1 y sub1=0 and y sub2=1 which will imply that m=1/0 and then by using the point slope formula we will get the following y-1=1/0(x-1) and with that said we are done.

x > 1 does not have a slope so this is kind of a trick question. x = 1 is a vertical line (the slope is undefined) where the x-value is 1 and the y-value can be anything at all. So this becomes the boundary for the inequality x > 1. The inequality can be graphed like this:

I'd answer the question with either a) the slope does not exist therefore the point-slope form does not exist or b) just leave it as x > 1 but perhaps state the slope does not exist in parenthesis.
