A clock took 5 seconds to strike 2times, at 2 clock. How long would this clock take to strike 5 times at 5 clock. ( Hint: it’s not 12.5 seconds)

20 seconds

(5-1)/(2-1) = 4

4 times 5 = 20 seconds

as the 1st strike takes zero time, or so close as to be ignored, so total time is just the remaining strikes, 5-1 =4 and 2-1 = 1
