Let P = original prediscounted Price
P-.20P = .80P = 15.20
P = 15.20/.8 = 1520/8 = $19.00
20% of 19 = 3.80
19-3.8 = 15.20
(or, as often happens, the store's original price was $15.20
and they just pretend the original price was $19, so they
can advertise a "big discount" of 20%)
