Find the line parallel to y=3x-12 with the point (1, -2)

A line parallel to y=3x-12 will have the same slope, m=3.

y-(-2)= 3(x-1)

y = 3x-3 -2

y = 3x-5

k = -2

h = 1

m = 3 (since parallel lines have the same slope)
