An over-zealous golfer hits a flop shot with a sand wedge to get out of the corner of a sand trap with an initial velocity of 45 feet per second. What is the maximum height that the golf ball will reach?

y = -16x² + 45x is the equation needed.

x = -b/a/2 where y=ax² +bx +c

So x = -45/16/2 = 0.1777777778 seconds

y = 31.640625 feet
