Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
(-1.2),(3,4) has slope =(4-2)/(3+1) = 2/4= 1/2 = (y-4)/(x-3)
y-4 = x/2 - 3/2
y = .5x +2.5
(-5,0).(3,4) has slope = 4/(3+5)= 4/8 =1/2= y/(x+5)
y =.5x +2.5
interection point is seemingly given in the problem itself, right in plain sight: (3,4)
but the two line are the same, with an infinite number of "intersections" as they coincide at every point
