For mean, just add up all values and divide by the total, in this case 9:

Mean=(8+9+4+5+3+8+4+9+3)/9

Mean=5.89

Median means the value that falls directly in the middle, so first, write your values in numerical order:

3,3,4,4,5,8,8,9,9

The value directly in the middle is 5. There are 4 values above 5 and 4 values below 5.

Median=5
