Graph the two points, You'll see that they form a vertical line x = 2. Division by 0 is a no-no!

yes, he is correct. The slope of the line through the points (2,-1) and (2,5) is (5--1)/(2-2)=6/0 , which is undefined. By graphing the two lines, you will see that they both lie on the vertical line x = 2. The slope is undefined
