buffer solution preparing

Prepare:

100 mL of 0.15 M sodium acetate buffer, pH 4.6 + 0.9 w/v%. NaCl (you have 0.25 M sodium acetate buffer, pH 4.6 & 9% w/v NaCl solutions.)

(x ml)(0.25 M NaAc) = (100 ml)(0.15 M NaAc)

x = 60 mls NaAc buffer

(x ml)(9% NaCl) = (100 ml)(0.9% NaCl)

x = 10 mls NaCl

Procedure:

Mix 60 mls of 0.25 M sodium acetate buffer with 10 mls of 9% NaCl and dilute to a final volume of 100 mls.
