Hello Deborah,
For your question, we just turn our attention to the coefficient of 'x', which in this case is -2/5.
For a slope to be perpendicular to our initial slope of -2/5, we just use the negative reciprocal and that will be by default perpendicular to our initial slope.
So...
(-2/5) -> -(-5/2) = 5/2.
