To translate a function to the right, replace the x with x+1.
f(x) = -7x + 4. so the translation g(x) = -7(x + 1) +4
Cleaning it up to put into the y - mx + b format....
g(x) = -7x - 7 + 4
g(x) = -7x - 3
You may check this by graphing both f and g.
