There are a few ways to figure this out. Here is one.
Realize that the point (0,4) is the y-intercept, so in the slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) , b = 4.
To find the slope of the line through those points use the formula for the slope containing two given points.
m = [y2- y1]/[x2 - x1] = [4 - 0] / [0 - 4] = 4/-4 = -1.
So,
y = -1x + 4
Or
y = -x + 4
