The key to this question is knowing the ration of the dimensions. We know that the length is 17 feet and the width is 10 feet. This gives us a ratio of length to width: L / W = 17' / 10' = 1.7. If we want to scale down to dimensions that will fit on a 29" x 20" t-shirt we can simply divide the length by the ratio: 29" / 1.7 ≈ 17.06. This is the maximum height and width (assuming you want to keep the same ratio) that can fit on the t-shirt. If you increase the width any more, the image will not fit on the t-shirt in terms of height.
