Average velocity is given by (h(b)-h(a))/(b-a).

So, for instance, the time interval [2,3] average velocity would be whatever (h(3)-h(2))/(3-2) is. Repeat the process for the other four time intervals.

v_ave=(v₁+v₂)/2

here v(t)=47-1.66t ,,,,derivative of position

when t₁=2 and t₂=2.001

v_ave=[94-1.66*4.001.]/2
