Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
(3x+4)/2 + 1 = (5x+10)/8
multiply both sides by 8 to eliminate fractions
4(3x+4) +8 =5x+10
12x+16+8= 5x+10
12x-5x = 10-8-16
7x= -14
x=-14/2
x= -2
check the answer
(3(-2)+4)/2 +1= [5(-2)+10]/8
-2/2 +1 =(-10+10)/8
-1+1 =0/8
0=0
it works
