Area = (1/2) x (sum of bases) x altitude
Rearrange
sum of bases = (2 x Area) / altitude
plugging what we know
sum of bases = (2 x 72) / 6 = 24
We also know that one of the bases is 10. So we can solve for the other base by subtracting 10 from the sum of the bases:
24-10=14
