Given: log_n2≈0.587 log_n4 ≈ 1.173 log_n6≈1.517 find log_n(4/n)

To solve this problem, we can use some log properties

log_a(m/n) = log_a(m) - log_a(n)

log_aa = 1

The problem given is

log_n(4/n)

= log_n4 - log_nn log_a(m/n) = log_a(m) - log_a(n)

= 1.173 - 1 (The value of log_n4 was given to us; and log_aa = 1)

= 0.173
