I really need help with this question on my math work. Anyone out there, please help me get the answer to this question( also pen is short for pencil here and 80c means 80 cents, c is not a variable there, just want to clarify)

n + p = 17

5 notebooks, 12 pens

3.49(5) +.8(12)

= 17.45 +9.6

=27.05
