Is it possible to have a number system without ones and zeroes

decimal, base 10 had 9 digits plus 0

binary, base 2 has 1 digit plus 0, just ones and zeros

unitary base 1 has just ones, no zeros

in base 1, the equalent in base 10 is

1=1

11=2

111=3

1111=4

11111= 5

etc.

that's a number system that doesn't have both 1's and 0s, as there are no 0's.
