in a 52 card deck, there are four 3's
Pr(3) = 4/52 = 1/13 on one draw
draw twice with replacement odds of 2 3's are 1/13^2
draw 3 times with replacement odds of three 3's are 1/13^3= 1/2197
each draw's result is an independent event. the draws have no memory
same situation with flipping a coin 3 times, odds of 3 heads = (1/2)^3 = 1/8
if it's an unfair coin with probability of a head being 1/13 then chance
of 3 heads in 3 flips = 1/2197
