generally these problems give you 2 points such as (0,5) and (3, 625)

then ask for the exponential equation

y=ab^x= ab^0=a=5

then use the 2nd point to find b

625 = 5b^3

b^3=125

b=5

y=5(5^x)

or

y=5^(x+1)
