Solving Word Problems algebraic

Burgers cost $2.10,

Hot dogs cast $11.10, and

Soda cost $.85

21 people buy either a burger or dog, and every one of them buys a soda, and

total cost is $51.75

How many burgers and dogs were bought?

Your numbers do not add up. If 21 people bought hamburgers for 2.10 (lower than the hot dog price you cited) and a soda for 0.85 that makes 2.95. A total of 21 * 2.95 = 61.95! The hot dog price, the soda price and the number of people should be checked and the total amount as well.
