You have a B and then a D

you're grade is the weighted average

xB + (1-x)D = new grade

calculate them like a GPA

if they count the same weight

the new grade is the arithmetic average

it's = .5B +.5D

the new grade is (B+D)/2

use the

A=4,

B=3,

C=2,

D=1

F=0 numerical conversion system

then

(3+1)/2 = 4/2=2 = C

if B has weight of 90% and D has weight of 10%

then

the new grade is:
