Slope

m = (y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁) = (0-(-3))/(2-(-6)) = 3/8

Evaluation

y-y₁ = m(x-x₁)

y-(-3) = (3/8)(x-(-6))

y+3 = (3/8)x + 18/8

y+3 = (3/8)x + 9/4

y = (3/8)x - 3/4

y-y₂ = m(x-x₂)

y-0 = (3/8)(x-2)

y = (3/8)x - 6/8

y = (3/8)x - 3/4
