slope intercept form is
y =mx + b, where m= slope and b=intercept
solve for b by plugging in the point, x=-4, y=9
y = 7x + b
9 = 7(-4) +b
9=-28 +b
b = 9 +28 = 37
y = 7x +37 is the line with slope 7 through (-4,9), in slope intercept form,
the slope = the coefficient of the x term when the equation is solved for y
the y intercept = the constant term = 37 or the point (0,37)
