Hello,
Since I come from Africa, I will be able to answer this: This statement is true.
- Africa has a warm climate, even in winter, and has endless warm, sunny days, which is ideal for solar energy.
- Using solar energy helps reduce the burning of coal, therefore it helps the impact of climate change. There are no toxic emissions going into the atmosphere which is a definite cause of climate change.
- Solar energy is becoming less expensive and is used all over South Africa to generate electricity.
