Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
perimeter = 48
48/4 = 12 feet for each side of the garden
the 1st fence cost $1.39 times 48= $66.72
2nd fence is 22 feet outside the 1st fence
add 2(22) to 12 = 56 = side of the larger square.
56 x 4 = perimenter of the larger square
56x4x1.39 = $311.36 = cost of the 2nd fence
total cost 66.72+311.36 = $378.08
