Steve Marduke has two spinners in front of him. The first one is numbered 1-6, and the second is numbered 1-3. If Steve spins each spinner once, what is the probability that the first spinner will show an odd number, and the second spinner will show a "1"?

P(1st spinner odd) = 3/6 = 1/2

 

P(2nd spinner = 1) = 1/3 

 

P(both) = (1/2) * (1/3) = 1/6
