Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
Just keep practicing problems. Eventually you see the pattern of what to do in advance.
'
buy an ACT or SAT practice book, go through all the problems, (Barnes and Nobles has some in their stores or will order them for you, if out of stock),
if you want to go to college, their entrance tests will usually require taking the ACT or SAT, including the math portion. Big advantage if you've worked through most of the typical problems in advance.
Precalcalc is a mixed bag of math topics, lately it seems to include trigonometry, as in some college algebra courses, taught in high school too.
OR of course, find a Wyzant tutor you feel comfortable with.
