a line throught (2,0) and (0,3) has slope = -3/2
the equation in point slope form is
y -0 = (-3/2)(x-2)
or
y = (-3/2)x +3 in slope intercept form which is what you want
slope = the coefficient of the x term, when a linear equation is solved for y
y intercept = the constant term
or
2y=-3x+6
3x+2y = 6 in standard form
