To graph this line, first plot the point at (-3, 4). The point is 3 units to the left of the origin (x-coordinate of -3) and 4 units above the y-axis (y-coordinate of 4).
FROM THIS POINT, count the slope and plot a new point. With a negative slope the will go down from left to right. This allows us to count UP and LEFT, or DOWN and RIGHT. From the point if we count the slope up 1 and left 2 we would get the point (-5, 5). If we count down 1 and right 2 we would get the point (-1, 3).
Once you have two points plotted you can draw your line through them.
