3x-4y =6 is standard form for a linear equation
3x-4y -6 = 0 is general form for a linear equation
or
y = (3/4)x -3/2 is slope intercept form, for a linear equation,
with slope = 3/4 = coefficient of the x term and -3/2 = y intercept = the point (0,-3/2) = the constant term, when the linear equation is solved for y
