No need to be rude, David W. Can easily multiply both sides by 100 at the end as I did to eliminate the decimals.

Thank you Jon M. To me it says PRESENT YOUR ANSWER as an integer or reduced fraction. Solving for x above does not yield a decimal. I read that as do not present your answer as a decimal. 5.4/.9 = 6 and 6 is an integer. I got the impression that the restriction on decimals only pertained to the answer.
