y intercept is the origin
one x intercept is also the origin. actually, graphically it's a point of tangency, where the graph or curve just touches the x axis but doesn't intersect or cross the x axis
the other 2 x intercepts are found from solving
x^2 -3x -40 = 0
if you can't factor it, use the quadratic formula
(x-8)(x+5) = 0
x =-5 and 8 are the other two x intercepts
