If the company charges $20.10 for each mile driven, the car isn't going very far:

40 ÷ 20.10 = 1.99 miles at maximum.

If the company charges a one-time fee of $19.95, and 15 cents for each mile:

(40 - 19.95) ÷ 0.15 = 133.67 miles at maximum.

The second option seems like a better deal to me :)
