= 2n +6
or maybe the problem intended to say
2(n+6) = 2n+12
but using PEMDAS, arithmetic order
of operations, do M before A
Multiply before Adding
Multiiply 2 times n, before adding 6
so 2n+6 looks like what was intended
although if there is more context to the problem
it might show more clearly what was intended
