p = (-3, 4) is 1/4 the way from A to B
you got it right
just simplify what you wrote
x= -4+ (1/(3+1))(0- -4) =-4 +(1/4)(4) = -4 +1= -3
y = 3 + (1/(3+1))(7-3) = 3+ (1/4)(4) = 3+1= 4
p = (x,y) = (-3, 4)
