a shopper purchased 7 t shirts and 5 pairs of pants for $200. the next day, he purchased 5 t-shirts and one pair of pants for $112. what is a system of equations that represents the soulution? How much does each t-shirt and each pair of pants cost?

5s + p = 112

25s +5p = 560

7s + 5p = 200

subtract

18s = 360

s= 360/18 = $20 for a shirt

p = (112-5(20)= $12 for pants

5(20)+12 = 112

7(20) +5(12) = 140+60=200
