Aewa S = ∫12/√3[1/2 - √(x2 - 1)/(x)]dx = π/6 - 1/2.
We have to do sub: x = sect.
You have to use x = 1, because x = 0 not in domain x ≥ 1.

If you add in the area of the rectangle with length from 0 to 1 along x-axis and width from 0 to 1/2 along y-axis (area = 1/2) you will get pi/6. Another way to do the problem is to solve the original function for x in terms of y, then integrate along y from 0 to 1/2. The antiderivative turns out to be arcsin. desmos.com/calculator/2vdb2nm7nl01/24/23
