Consider the functions h(x) and g(x) Evaluate and simplify the expressions below

H(X)=-6x+5

G(X)=-x+6

I have work done for the first three of the expressions below but don't know if I got them right and I am confused with the (H+G)(4)= and the one below it I attempted to do the (H+G)(4)=

H(4)=

-6(4)+5=

-24+5=

-19

G(4)=

-(4)+6=

-4+6=

2

(H+G)(4)=

(-6x+5)+(-x+6)(4)

-6x+5-x+6(4)

-7x+11(4)

-7x+44

(H+G)(X)=

That is correct and to verify H(x) + G(x) = (H + G)(x) -19 + 2 = -17
