y = 3(2^x), assuming that first "x" is meant to mean multiplication and not the same variable as the exponent.
y/3 = 2^x
take logs of both sides, with log to the base 2
log2(y/3) = x
x = log2(y/3)
graphically, the y intercept is 3, when x=0
y = 3(2^0) = 3(1) = 3
the y intercept is 3 which is the point (0,3)
horizontal asymptote is the x axis or y=0
OR maybe you really meant y=3x(2^x) then
it gets more complicated, so odds are you didn't mean that
