I have 2 boxes of matches.
•Box A has 5x as many as box B.
•I removed 76 matches from Box A.
• Box A now has the same qty as box B.
• How many matches are in box A?

A=5B
A-76 = B +76
5B = B + 152
4B = 152
B = 152/4 = 38
38 in Box B initially
A =5(38) = 190 in Box A initially
190-76 = 114
38+76 = 114
now they both have 114
